เป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อมและผลิตจากแร่เวอร์มิคูไลท์ที่เกิดขึ้นตามธรรมชาติ สารดับเพลิง AVD มีส่วนประกอบหลักเป็นแร่ธรรมชาติเกล็ดเวอร์มิคูไลท์ที่เป็นสารแขวนตะกอนในน้ำที่มีความเสถียร สีทอง/น้ำตาล ไม่ติดไฟและมีคุณสมบัติเป็นฉนวนความร้อนที่ดีเยี่ยม สารดับเพลิงได้รับมาตรฐาน UL และมีตัวอย่างผลการทดสอบการดับเพลิงแบตเตอรี่ลิเธียมไอออนจากสถาบัน UL ในการใช้งาน AVD จะมีลักษณะเป็นหมอก อนุภาคของมิคูไลท์ในหมอกจะสะสมอยู่บนพื้นผิวของเชื้อเพลิง ที่เผาไหม้เพื่อสร้างแผ่นฟิล์มที่ด้านบนของเปลวเพลิงแผ่นฟิล์มนี้จะแห้งในทันที และเนื่องจากอัตราส่วนลักษณะ (Aspect Ratio) ที่สูง อนุภาคของเกล็ด (Platelet) ที่ทับซ้อนกันและจับตัวกันเป็นแผ่นฟิล์ม ป้องกันออกซิเจนที่ไม่ติดไฟระหว่างเปลวเพลิง กับบรรยากาศมองเห็นวิสัยทัศน์ชัดเจนขณะฉีดใช้งาน (ไม่มีฝุ่น) หัวฉีดชนิดพิเศษก่อให้เกิดละอองของสารดับเพลิงในขนาดที่เหมาะสมสม่ำเสมอปลอดภัยสำหรับฉีดใช้งานกับอุปกรณ์ไฟฟ้า (ผ่านการทดสอบไฟฟ้าตามมาตรฐาน BS:EN3-7) ตัวถังทำด้วยสแตนเลส มีความทนทานสูง ป้องกันการกัดกร่อนและเป็นสนิม
